Talie Avatichi is a senior at Chagrin Falls High School and has been in the district since she moved in fifth grade. In previous years, Talie has taken one semester of film photography one semester of computer graphics, and one semester of digital photography. In film, Talie learned how to take pictures with the right aperture and shutter speed in order to get the contrast she wanted after developing her pictures. She liked taking film photography which was what made her want to take digital, even if she had to take computer graphics beforehand. At first, Talie was not thrilled to take computer graphics but ended up enjoying it. She learned how to use things like layer mask, which was her favorite project, lasso tool and various healing brushes. In fact, three of her pieces will be in the Spring 2020 Art Show. Through her digital photography course, has learned learn more about modern photography and how to take aesthetic photos, especially of nature, with a contemporary camera.
